Today, after a long, hard fought battle, raging across decades, The United States has openly, shamelessly, chosen to lick the boot of riches, instead of lifting up the fallen child.

How did we get here?

Seriously. Look at anything I’ve written in the last 15 years. It’s been a war. And some of us stood as tall as we could as we watched hate and ignorance flood our society way past the dam’s break.

I did everything I possibly could. Did you?

Not enough of us stood up to the constantly growing cancer of tumors piled on tumors, all with faces of old white men.

Some could not stand. It’s not their fault. The fault here lays with every person who ever considered the American Right to be reasonable, honorable, or to have the best interests of their constituents at heart.

In 2000, I voted for the first time. And I’ve watched angry, greedy, hateful, and ignorant idiots spread lies on top of lies on top of lies.

The thing here, and please remember, because this is what happened. And it’s the closest thing to ‘meaning’ anyone will ever get out of this dumpster fire.

Good people refused to listen. Refused to learn. Refused to grow. Grown human beings had every chance to prevent this, and they chose not to. Now, nothing is left. Your children will never live a childhood like you did. That’s supposed to be the goal!! We cannot go backwards!! Time moves forever forward, so and nostalgic sentiment is ridiculous lies we tell our selves. There’s no going back. Only forward.

Those who refused to ever even try to grow, change, or be something better than they were the day before, those people never have lived. Indulging the delusional desire for yesterday only insures that there will be no tomorrow.
